Action Fund presents achievements of Connected Landscapes program
So far in 2016, the Connected Landscapes program has achieved that the Departmental Development Plans of Caquetá and the Municipalities of Cartagena del Chairá, San José de Fragua and Belén de los Andaquíes include actions and goals related to the sustainable management of forests and rural and environmental development in the Amazon. In addition, the Connected Landscapes program is also focused on the Diploma in Amazonian Rural and Environmental Development with professors from the Pontifical Javeriana University, the University of Manizales and the University of the Amazon. Together with Fondo Acción and the Government of Caquetá, they are leading the second cycle of the diploma course. A commitment to peace and sustainable growth with a territorial approach in which farmers, public officials and academics participate in a dialogue of knowledge with a view to formulating guidelines for public policy on rural development in Caquetá.
