Within the framework of the DETCAA project, work has been done on the development of community capacities. A major achievement was to hold a training workshop to develop projects for the communities, which was attended by 160 participants. With these tools they will be able to start proposing projects to improve their lives and their development. The program is financed by the World Bank and with funds from Japan. The Foundation for the Development of the National System of Protected Areas (FUNDESNAP) executes it.
