In 2015, the Fund supported large-scale projects, such as: the Amazônia SAR project, by CENSIPAM, which will improve the capacity to monitor deforestation in cloud-covered periods, managing R$ 64 million; and the Integrated Project of the Amazon, by EMBRAPA, which will disseminate knowledge and technology related to the recovery, conservation and sustainable use of the Amazon biome, managing R$ 34 million. In addition, Fundo Amazônia has been instrumental in supporting the implementation of the Rural Environmental Registry (CAR), for which more than R$ 220 million was allocated to 10 different states.
