He is the Executive Director and founder of Earthmind, a not-for-profit sustainability network . He has over 20 years of international experience as a sustainability economist. Since 2005 he has worked on a variety of sustainability issues primarily related to the interface between business and biodiversity. Also, he is a member of the IUCN, the Commission on Ecosystem Management (CEM), the World Commission of Protected Areas (WCPA), the Species Survival Commission (SSC) and the Commission on Environmental, Economic and Social policy (CEESP)
She was the RedLAC Executive Secretary (2014-2015). She has a degree in Sociology from the Vienna University in Austria. Also, She has a Master’s degree in Social Policies and Social Interventions (MSC) from the University of Ultrecht, Netherlands. In the same way, she is specialist in International Cooperation and Development Project Management from the Externado University in Colombia.
She counts with extensive experience working with non-profit organizations’ projects like Peace Brigade International (PBI) and Diakonie Katastrophenhilfe, both in Colombia. As a consultant, she has worked with the Netherlands Government on a variety of social policies issues like education, immigration, among other social topics.
