Future South Foundation - FSF
he Fundación Sur Futuro has been working since 2001 to improve the quality of life of vulnerable populations and to support the sustainable management of the environment and natural resources, mainly in the Southern Region of the Dominican Republic. This Environmental Fund focuses its work in seven areas: social development, natural resources and agricultural production, renewable energy and climate change, education and health, community development infrastructure, microcredit and international humanitarian cooperation. Thanks to its management, the Fund promotes the articulation of public, private and community actors at all levels, administers patrimonial and extinguishable funds, and directly executes projects to help improve the economic, social and environmental quality of life of its beneficiaries.
It also promotes models and practices of sustainable natural resource use, which contribute to breaking the vicious circle of poverty and environmental degradation.
